Are you an aspiring founder or startup-curious individual? Register here to participate in the Maine Start Summit, presented by the Roux Institute in partnership with entrepreneurial orgs around the state!
The Maine Start Summit is an annual series of three-day-long hackathons, designed to lower the barrier of entry for aspiring founders and startup curious individuals to join Maine’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. The event kicks off on Friday evening with a panel of Blue Tech industry experts presenting challenges in the area of sustainable ocean activity, encouraging participants to address problems within the Blue Tech theme.
Supporting collaboration between participants from across the state, attendees are invited to form teams, develop a unique idea, and with the help of an all-star line-up of mentors, learn how to build and pitch a successful business. Four entrepreneurial workshops will be presented throughout the weekend to help each team build out their idea and develop a prototype before they have a chance to pitch for prize money on Sunday. Workshop Facilitators and keynote Speakers to be announced.
Cash prizes will be awarded to the first and second place teams, and there are additional opportunities for sponsors to provide prizes.
