Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

Eaton Peabody’s Statement on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion:

We believe that Eaton Peabody’s strength is drawn from the talents, knowledge, and dedication of the members of our team and their diverse backgrounds and experiences, and we recognize that the more everyone who works at or with Eaton Peabody feels welcome, included, valued, and supported, the stronger we will be as a firm and a community. To that end, we are focused on fostering an atmosphere of inclusivity and mutual support within Eaton Peabody, in the towns and cities we serve, and with the clients we represent. Our goal is to ensure that every one of us, regardless of position, location, age, race, sexual orientation, ethnicity, gender identity, or beliefs, feels appreciated for the work that we do, and for the unique talents and perspectives we bring to that work. We recognize that in a fast-changing and increasingly diverse world, the more perspectives we bring to the table, the more nimble we can be, and the better we can serve our clients, our communities—and, ultimately, reach our collective goals.

How Eaton Peabody Puts Its Words Into Action:

In order to advance Eaton Peabody’s DEI goals, the firm created a committee made up of eight dedicated attorneys and other professionals who recognize that diversity, equity, and inclusion make our firm a better place to work and a stronger member of the communities that we serve. Working in conjunction with firm leadership, and engaging with Eaton Peabody employees, clients, and members of the community, the DEI Committee is responsible for ensuring continued progress towards our stated goals through education, policy, and active engagement internally and within the community.
