Eaton Peabody Represents American Unagi in $1.5 Million Investment Round

Eaton Peabody represented Waldoboro-based American Unagi during its $1.5 million investment round led by RuralWorks Partners LLC, an impact investment firm with offices in Vermont and Minnesota.

American Unagi is a Maine-based company responsibly raising American eels sourced from Maine’s unique glass eel fishery. These local glass eels are currently shipped abroad to be grown, but we are growing them here in Maine, close to the source. Their farm produces a more responsible, traceable, and ultimately safer eel product than what is currently available in the US.
