Eaton Peabody Consulting Group (EPCG) is a multi-disciplined consulting team providing services in municipal management, business development, community assistance, and government affairs. EPCG has the expertise to provide direct assistance at the municipal, regional, and state level, throughout Maine.

EPCG assists businesses to expand and grow with services that include identification of financial resources, strategic planning, and development approvals.

Development services are provided to municipal and regional entities and to a wide range of business development projects, such as Waterville’s Trafton Properties and MaineGeneral Medical Center. Presently over a dozen communities from Orono to Arundel have engaged EPCG for task specific municipal management, planning, or development services.

EPCG assists businesses to expand and grow, as well as developing for them new markets in northern New England and Atlantic Canada. Assistance can include identification of financial resources, strategic planning, development approvals, and networking.

The government affairs focus of EPCG is broad, covering such areas as housing and transportation policy. Example organizations include the Maine Transit Association, the Maine Affordable Housing Coalition, and the Maine Real Estate Managers Association. These services complement the long standing presence of Eaton Peabody representation of business clients in Augusta.

Municipal management is geared toward assisting communities who are in transition. Consultants can provide assistance in staff replacements, such as municipal manager replacement. EPCG can work with Boards on conflict resolution, ethical issues, and reorganization. EPCG has assisted communities in reorganization efforts and in assessing critical financial issues.
