Bill Devoe maintains a busy general litigation practice, including environmental, real estate, probate, utilities, trusts and estates, commercial, maritime, insurance defense, professional liability, municipal, electrical, water, eminent domain, and family law litigation.

He actively engages in all types of dispute resolution proceedings throughout the State of Maine and in other parts of the country, including court proceedings, arbitration, mediation, and proceedings before state and local regulatory and licensing boards. He has served as a mediator, arbitrator, and court-appointed Rule 53 referee.

Prior to Eaton Peabody, Bill served as law clerk to Justices David G. Roberts and Louis Scolnik of the Maine Supreme Judicial Court. He also served as editor-in-chief of the Transnational Law Journal, Suffolk University Law School.
