Linda has been employed by Eaton Peabody as a real estate paralegal for over 25 years. Her primary focus is title insurance and other real estate matters, including preparation of title insurance commitments and policies, closing documents, conducting title searches and conducting real estate closings. She works closely with a number of banking institutions, title insurance companies and local firms in her area of practice. Prior to joining Eaton Peabody in 1989, Linda worked at a number of law firms in Maine, Massachusetts and New Hampshire in the real estate practice, including work as a real estate paralegal and title abstractor at two New Hampshire law firms from 1980 to 1988.
Linda was born in Mexico, Maine, and graduated from Mexico High School with honors in 1968. After graduation, she attended Husson College and later attended paralegal classes at the University of New Hampshire. Linda regularly participates in continuing education and title insurance seminars. She is a licensed title insurance agent, one of only a few non-attorney licensed title insurance agents in the State. Linda currently resides in Bangor. Her interests include reading, outdoor activities and travel. Linda supports and volunteers with Maine Special Olympics at its Summer Games in Orono and other events.
