Johanna is an Associate in Eaton Peabody’s Business Practice Group. She is based in the Firm’s Portland office, but frequently travels to, and works with, those in the Bangor and Ellsworth offices. Johanna’s areas of focus include business formation and structuring, mergers and acquisitions, angel/venture capital financings, securities offerings, and general corporate work.
Prior to joining Eaton Peabody, Johanna earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Maine School of Law in May 2019. Johanna earned the Corporate/Business Law Award, an award given to one student in the graduating class for displaying academic excellence and achievement in the select area of law.
While in law school, Johanna served as a tax intern at a regional accounting firm, and as a summer associate at Eaton Peabody. At Maine Law, Johanna was the Student Liaison to Maine’s New Lawyers Section, Co-Chair of the Maine Association of Public Interest Law, a member of the Student Bar Association, and Secretary to the Maine Juvenile Law Society.
Johanna earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Bentley University where she double majored in Accountancy and Ethics & Social Responsibility and minored in Law. Johanna received the Presidential Scholarship and the Women’s Leadership Scholarship and was a committed member of the Bentley community. She was a member of the University Judicial Board, Student Alumni Leadership Council, and Academic Integrity Society.
In her free time, she enjoys traveling the world, spending time at her family’s camp, and exploring all that Maine has to offer.
