Cornell Knight

Cornell has been a town manager in Maine for 40 years. He retired in 2022 as Town Manager of Bar Harbor after 7+ years of service. He previously was manager in the communities of Topsham, Winthrop, Jay, Hallowell and Baileyville. He is a member of the International City/County Managers Association and a member and past president of the Maine Town and City Management Association. He was awarded the association’s Manager of the Year award in 2012. Cornell recently served as the interim County Administrator for Hancock County.
