Carrie LeDuc is a business and technical consultant with Eaton Peabody Consulting. Working in a team environment Carrie brings a high level skills set that delivers to a wide variety of client requirements throughout the State of Maine. Carrie provides the following services to the firm’s clients:
Business Management Services – Carrie works with start ups and small businesses, particularly those in transition. She also works with potential founders considering business start ups. She conducts structure review (starting, scaling, merging, selling, stagnating, pivoting); develops business strategic plans and marketing plans; provides guidance through the funding process; reviews and advises on product development and consults on mergers and acquisitions.
Process and Project Management Services – Carrie conducts review and advice regarding process and project management; process evaluation and metrics development; process improvement plans, change management and implementation, technology review and scaling strategy.
Technical Advice – Carrie advises on genetic techniques, robotic implementation, databases, and scaling.
Grant Writing and Reporting – Carrie also provides advice and support for grant writing and reporting activities.
Carrie LeDuc was originally trained in marine biology and genetics and has worked in this field, general biology, management, and operations ever since. She spent 22 years working in state and federal positions as well as 5 years in start-up biotech in San Diego prior to moving to Maine. She was with for The Jackson Lab for 8 years but missed working with start-ups and small businesses. Over the last four years she began working with friends and colleagues to start two biotech companies here in Maine, helped Hydro-Photon attract and sell to Katadyn, and worked on process improvement with GTCA.
