Heather Johnson is the Commissioner of the Maine Department of Economic and Community Development.
Commissioner Johnson will speak on the newly released “Maine Economic Development Strategy 2020-2029“, which the Commissioner presented to Governor Mills and the Maine Legislature in December. This plan is based on the following Vision Statement:
By 2030, Maine will be an international leader with a vibrant, sustainable, environmentally-responsible economy. All across the state, the people of Maine will have access to an unmatched quality of life and good-paying jobs.
The Commissioner will share details of the pillars of the plan to achieve this vision, and how this strategy will be felt in Knox County and the greater Midcoast.
