Rodney focuses his practice on all aspects of federal, state, and local taxation, assisting clients both in tax planning and in tax controversy resolution. He routinely addresses corporate and partnership income tax issues on behalf of the firm's business clients, and advises on sales and use tax issues, estate and gift tax issues, and on the taxation of settlements and judgments. He counsels clients in the tax aspects of transactional matters such as the purchase or sale of assets, including like-kind exchanges, and regularly represents clients in tax disputes before federal and state taxing authorities.

Rodney also counsels clients on employee benefits matters.
