Mike's practice is concentrated on general corporate law, securities law and business and tax planning for individuals, businesses, charitable institutions and municipalities. He is active in promoting regional economic development issues and cooperation between the business community and non-profit organizations. He also regularly serves as bond counsel to municipalities and counties, water and sewer districts, and school districts in financing construction projects.
Working pro bono, Mike was instrumental in assisting the University of Maine in securing a $2.2 million grant from the Economic Development Administration, with State of Maine matching funds, to support construction of a composite wood fiber research and development facility.
