Kelly A. Disley

Kelly brings over 30 years of experience as a paralegal in firms both in Massachusetts and Maine to her work at Eaton Peabody. While attending college to earn her degree in Paralegal Studies, Kelly worked as an Administrative Assistant in a general practice firm, acquiring knowledge and skills in real estate, probate, criminal law, family law, and litigation matters. After receiving her degree, Kelly worked for a large law firm in Springfield, Massachusetts. Kelly joined Eaton Peabody’s Dover-Foxcroft office in 1989 and moved to the Bangor office in 2000, working as a paralegal in the firm’s Litigation Department. Kelly’s work at Eaton Peabody has included multiple family law, criminal law, contested probate matters, boundary dispute litigation, complex environmental litigation, commercial disputes, and other such matters in courts throughout the state at the county, state, and federal level. She works closely with clients to develop information that will advance their interests and supports the practice of several of the firm’s attorneys in court, in depositions, and in other judicial settings.

Education

Elms College, with honors, 1982

Kelly regularly attends continuing legal education courses and seminars on a wide variety of litigation topics, including electronic discovery, advanced legal drafting, and litigation case management, to name only a few.
