Jennifer's practice is concentrated in Estate Planning and Administration, Elder Law, and Tax. She advises clients on all aspects of estate planning and administration, from simple estates to complex trusts and estate tax planning, and charitable gift planning. She assists clients in MaineCare planning, including transfer planning to protect family assets, drafting special needs trusts, and representing clients applying for MaineCare and other state and federal benefits, as well as representing clients before the Maine Department of Health and Human Services in appeal of denied benefits. Jennifer also represents clients in guardianships and conservatorships for minor children and disabled or incapacitated adults.

Jennifer has experience working with trust beneficiaries to remove and replace corporate trustees and terminate or modify existing trusts. She works regularly with federal and state tax issues surrounding trusts and estates, in both the planning and administration stages, and has represented clients in audits of taxable estates by the IRS and Maine Revenue.
