Heather is a member of Eaton Peabody's Environmental and Land Use Practice Group. Her practice focuses on wetlands permitting, Brownfields redevelopment, representation of businesses and municipalities in proceedings under state and federal hazardous substance and waste laws, and preparing legal response for landowners with groundwater contamination issues. She advises municipalities, businesses and individuals on water discharge permits, the VRAP program, significant wildlife habitat (including vernal pools, and shorebird and wading bird habitat), gravel and borrow pit regulations, outdoor wood boilers, and other natural resource and land use planning and permitting matters under local zoning and state and federal environmental siting laws. Heather is also the co-author of the Maine law text for the treatise on Brownfields Redevelopment published by Matthew Bender. She is a native of Peru, Maine.
