Calvin has spent most of his career assisting individual and corporate clients with wealth transfer and business succession planning. In addition to estate planning, estate and trust administration, and the development of related tax strategies, Calvin also works with individuals and charitable organizations to develop and implement their charitable objectives.

Calvin has been active in a variety of community activities. Among the boards of which he has served are Acadia Hospital, Bangor Fuel Society, Bangor Public Library, Bangor Savings Bank, Bangor Theological Seminary, Community Health and Counseling Services, Healthcare Charities and Maine Community Foundation. Calvin also is actively involved with a number of private foundations.

In addition to estate planning and probate matters for individuals, Calvin advises many closely held and family owned businesses on tax and corporate. He also serves as clerk of numerous corporations and trustee of several charitable foundations.
