Judy Metcalf honored by City of Bath
Judy Metcalf received the Citizen of the Year Award at Bath's recent Citizen Involvement Day celebration. Ms. Metcalf has volunteered countless hours to various committees and initiatives since becoming a Bath resident in 1992. She currently serves as President of the board of the Chocolate Church Arts Center and is a trustee for Sagadahoc Preservation. She has been a member, appointed by the Bath City Council, of the Bath Community Forestry Committee since its establishment in 1993. Judy created and organized the annual Balloons Over Bath fundraiser for many years and was a long-time member of the Bath Rotary. She gives much credit to her family for supporting her volunteer efforts and for helping with some of her volunteer activities. Judy told The Times Record, "Bath is not just a community, it's a community of families. When people see a problem, they all band together to solve it. We're so blessed to be living here."
Judy practices real estate litigation and commercial litigation in Eaton Peabody's Brunswick office.
