Eaton Peabody Announces Ellsworth Office Open for Business - May, 2005


ELLSWORTH —Eaton Peabody’s Ellsworth office will open for business on Monday, May 9. The Ellsworth location at 204 Main Street replaces Eaton Peabody’s Blue Hill office in an effort to better serve its Downeast clientele. Blue Hill has been home to an Eaton Peabody office for ten years.

“The Ellsworth location puts us in the county seat, and allows us to expand into the center of business activity for this area,” stated Firm President Dan McKay.

Long-time Ellsworth attorney Dale Worthen and attorney Dorrance Sexton, Jr., currently practicing in the Blue Hill office and are making the transition to Ellsworth, joined by Matthew Worthen. Donna Jancewcz is the office’s paralegal, and was recently named president of the National Association of Legal Secretary’s Maine Chapter. Laurie Norton, notary public, and Lynn Whythe will continue on to Ellsworth as support staff from the Blue Hill office.

Dorrance Sexton serves as Chair of Eaton Peabody’s Tax Practice Group and concentrates his practice in the areas of taxation and estate and business planning. Dale Worthen advises clients on residential and commercial real estate transactions, land use planning, and estate and business planning. Matthew Worthen provides legal services and advice to financial entities and public and private corporations regarding real estate conveyance, corporate governance, business organization, and general corporate and business law.
