Berney Kubetz elected to the Maine Trial Lawyers Association Board of Governors - April 7th, 2005
Berney Kubetz has been elected to the Maine Trial Lawyers Association Board of Governors. Berney is Chair of Eaton Peabody's trial department and has practiced with the Firm for his entire 32 year career. His area of concentration is civil litigation and he specializes in tort, contract, First Amendment and product liability disputes. He regularly tries cases in the Maine state and federal courts.
The MTLA provides advocacy, continuing legal education and public education to Maine trial attorneys and the people they represent. MTLA is dedicated to promoting the administration of justice and improving the practice of law throughout the State of Maine.
The Board of Governors of the MTLA oversees the activities of Maine's trial lawyer organization. The Board meets regularly to set policies on issues of importance to Maine's trial lawyers and to coordinate and implement an extensive continuing education program.
