Federal Minimum Wage Increase

 Next Tuesday, July 24, 2007, the federal minimum wage will increase from the current $5.15/hour to $5.85/hour. While Maine's minimum wage is already higher at $6.75/hour (and will increase to $7.00/hour on October 1, 2007), the change in the federal law requires employers to post a new poster. A free online poster is available at the Department of Labor web site. You have a choice of 2 sizes and 2 colors for the poster.
