Eaton Peabody joins 5,000 in record-breaking Race for the Cure
BANGOR, MAINE – September 21, 2009 A group of 30 Eaton Peabody (EP) employees, family members and friends joined over 5,000 other Maine residents to walk, run, and ‘stroll’ last Sunday in the 2009 The Komen Maine Race for the Cure. The race experienced a record-breaking year in participation and donations. Race sponsor EP was proud to contribute over $2,000 to the total of $327,735. Among the participants, Attorney Karen Huber’s daughter, Libby Huber, age 14, placed 95th out of 5,000

EP Unites with United Way
BANGOR, MAINE – September 17, 2009 Eaton Peabody (EP) showed up in force to kick off United Way of Eastern Maine’s Annual Campaign Kick Off today at Bass Park. EP collectively donates over $18,000 a year to United Way programs. Almost 100% of the firm’s annual donation is made up of private donations and payroll deductions made by employees.

Remembering 9.11
BANGOR, MAINE – September 11, 2009 Eaton Peabody (EP) joined other community volunteers, Maine AmeriCorps, and members of the National Civilian Community Corps in the cleanup and restoration of the Park Woods Transitional Housing grounds in Bangor as part of the Maine Commission for Community Service and The Governor’s Office service project in honor of 9/11 which has been designated as “Patriot Day”.
