Eaton Peabody Ranked First in Eight "Best Law Firm" Categories Nationwide

BANGOR ME - Eaton Peabody has been identified as one of the "Best Law Firms 2011" in eight categories, based on a review of lawyers and law firms by US News & World Report in conjunction with Best Lawyers. Additionally, 12 Eaton Peabody attorneys were ranked as outstanding leaders in their field based on peer reviews.
One of more than 8500 firms evaluated, Eaton Peabody received highest ranking in the areas of employment, labor, land use, construction, corporate, media and first amendment, mergers and acquisitions, and securities/capital markets law. Real estate law received a second tier ranking.
Four Eaton Peabody attorneys were newcomers to the rankings which are based on confidential peer interview conducted nationally with more than 96,000 clients and attorneys.
