Eaton Peabody Announces Four New Shareholders

BANGOR, MAINE - January 31, 2013 The law firm of Eaton Peabody is very pleased to announce that attorneys Jeff Spaulding, Mike Hahn, Sarah Newell and Sarah Reinhart were made shareholders of Eaton Peabody at the firm's Annual Shareholders Meeting held in January. Jeff Spaulding advises companies in all stages of development, through formation, angel/venture capital financings, other securities offerings, strategic relationships, and mergers and acquisitions. Jeff also works with angel investors and venture capital firms on fund formation, regulatory compliance, and investments in target companies. Jeff has a particular interest in emerging companies in growth sectors and frequently advises them on financing, structuring, and securities matters throughout their growth.
Michael Hahn is a corporate finance attorney focused on commercial lending, acquisition financing and representing buyers and sellers of businesses and assets including purchasers and sellers of distressed debt. Michael also regularly advises financial institutions and individuals in connection with secured loan transactions under Article 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code, out of court loan workouts and restructurings and matters arising under the United States Bankruptcy Code.
Sarah Newell represents employers in the private, nonprofit and public sectors and her practice is focused on employment and labor law. She assists clients with a broad range of issues including wage & hour, sexual harassment, FMLA, employee discipline and discharge, discrimination, whistleblower actions, collective bargaining, contract administration, labor arbitration, and other employment and labor issues. Prior to joining Eaton Peabody, Sarah served as State Office Representative to United States Senator Susan Collins. Sarah represented the Senator in Androscoggin, Oxford, and Franklin counties.
Sarah Reinhart's practice focuses on real estate and estate planning and administration. Her real estate practice consists of representing and advising individual, corporate and municipal clients on matters relating to purchasing and financing commercial properties, commercial leases, review of complex titles, enforcement and foreclosure of real property taxes and assessments, easements and land conservation. Also, Sarah represents lenders in commercial finance transactions and municipalities in connection with the real estate component of USDA grants and loans. Her estate planning practice consists of drafting wills and trusts to meet individuals' estate planning goals and estate administration.
