Our services to Oakfield include: preparation of the development program, financial projections, DECD application and municipal approval documents for a tax increment financing (TIF) district designation; legal review of a TIF credit enhancement agreement; drafting and legal advice concerning a local community benefit agreement between the Town and First Wind; and advice, technical assistance and consultant services to the Town of Oakfield’s Wind Energy Review Committee, which conducted an in-depth examination of technical, financial and legal issues relating to the proposed project. The Oakfield project is EP / EPCG’s fifth commercial wind farm project in Maine, representing county and municipal clients.
