Eaton Peabody Announces Growing Intellectual Property Practice – May 2, 2008
Registered Patent Agent Joins the Company
BANGOR, MAINE – The law firm of Eaton Peabody is pleased to announce that it has formed a patent practice subsidiary and hired Dennis Haszko, a registered patent agent. He will join Jonathan Huntington in providing intellectual property assistance to clients from the Augusta office.

Haszko comes to Eaton Peabody from his solo practice, Patent Law Office of D. R. Haszko, in Farmington, Maine. His practice focuses on patent application, preparation, and negotiation for inventions in the areas of electromechanical, electrical, electronic, and computer- related inventions. During his eighteen years of experience, he spent six practicing in Ottawa, Ontario which included serving as in-house counsel for Nortel Networks and Patent Department Manager for Shapiro Cohen. Haszko spent five years working as a Patent Examiner for the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office during which he was awarded for outstanding performance, productivity, and special achievements.
Hasko is a registered patent agent in the United States and internationally. He graduated from Franklin Pierce Law Center in 1998 after receiving his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Ohio University.
Huntington Chairs Eaton Peabody's Intellectual Property practice. His 21 years of experience has been focused on providing clients with counsel on the existence, ownership, protection and exploitation of copyright, trademark and other intellectual property rights. A large portion of his practice is based on contractual control of intellectual property.
