Eaton Peabody Welcomes Attorney Sarah E. McCarthy – October 5, 2006
BANGOR, MAINE – Oct. 5, 2006 The law firm of Eaton Peabody has announced the addition of Sarah E. McCarthy to the Employment practice in the Bangor office.
“We are pleased that Sarah has joined us,” said Dan McKay, Eaton Peabody CEO. “We expect her political experience and strong legal credentials to provide added value to our employment law clients and to the firm generally.”
Prior to joining Eaton Peabody, McCarthy managed United States Senator Susan Collins’ Western Maine office in Lewiston, ME while employed as a State Office Representative. She graduated from the University of Maine School of Law in 2004 where she was ranked in the top 15% of her class and served as Articles Editor for the University Maine Ocean and Coastal Law Journal. Before law school, McCarthy received her Ed.M. from Harvard University and spent several years teaching English and World History at Catherine McAuley High School in Portland, Maine. McCarthy is a Maine native, growing up in Lewiston.
McCarthy is a member of the Maine State and Penobscot County Bar Associations.
