Search committee seeks suggestions for new city manager

ROCKLAND — The City Manager Search Committee is inviting Rockland citizens, businesses and organizations to a public meeting Tuesday, Nov. 29 at 6:30 p.m. at the Rockland City Council Chambers, 270 Pleasant St., to gather information regarding what the community believes are the major issues and challenges facing Rockland and to express what qualities, education, background and experience the new city manager should possess to meet these issues and challenges.

Don Gerrish and Dick Metivier from Eaton Peabody Consulting Group will facilitate this meeting. Gerrish and Metivier will also present an overview of the process that will be followed in selecting the new city manager.

The committee encourages attendance at this meeting for all who would like to express their opinions on this important community process.

Rockland Finance Director Tom Luttrell is serving as the interim city manager following the resignation of Rosemary Kulow.
