Economic Development Director Joins Consulting Group

BANGOR/AUGUSTA – Eaton Peabody Consulting Group (EPCG), a subsidiary of Eaton Peabody, announces the addition of Justin Holmes to its growing firm.

Holmes is the newly appointed Economic Development Director for Knox-Waldo Regional Economic Development (KRED). For the past four years, he served the MidCoast Economic Development District’s (MCEDD) Program as its Manager and Economic Development Specialist in a district that encompasses 30 communities and 3 counties. With an emphasis on regional economic development, Holmes worked with numerous federal and state agencies securing over $7M to develop and implement the region’s Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy. Prior to MCEDD, he was employed as an auditor for the municipality focused accounting firm of Harold A. Blake, in Hallowell, where he provided advice on cost-saving measures, grants and programs to numerous municipalities throughout the state.

Holmes is a graduate of the University of Maine at Augusta with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Public Administration. He resides in Hallowell with his wife and three children.
