Eaton Peabody Consultant Group Announces New Consultants

AUGUSTA, MAINE – Eaton Peabody Consulting Group, LLC., a subsidiary of Eaton Peabody, has announced the
addition of Daniel Stevenson and Patsy Wiggins to the consulting group.

Daniel B. Stevenson, Economic Development Consultant
Stevenson has over ten years of experience working with municipalities and businesses fostering economic growth. During this time he has served as the Director of Tax Incentive Programs for Maine's Department of Economic and Community Development (DECD), the Planning Director for the City of Biddeford, and the Planning Coordinator for the City of Lewiston. Stevenson's focus, while now in the private sector, will be to educate and guide clients through tax incentive programs in relation to economic development projects.
 
While at DECD Stevenson directed and managed the Pine Tree Development Zone initiative, Maine's key strategy for encouraging and facilitating new economic development through coordinated use of multiple tax incentive programs. He consistently managed over forty projects at any given time, ranging from business assistance to downtown revitalization projects, with varying budgets and a total project funding up to $10M.
 
Stevenson graduated from The University of Southern Maine with a B.A. in History in 1993 and a Masters in Public Policy, and Management in 1996.

Patsy Wiggins, Government Relations Consultant 

Wiggins will focus on government and media relations for the consulting group. She has over thirty years experience in television journalism and multi media production. During this time she spent an impressive 23 years in television news as an anchor, reporter and producer at four of the major television stations in Maine. During her tenure she covered the Maine Legislature beginning with the Longley Administration; anchored the noon news at WCSH; the 5:30 news for WGME- TV; and hosed three shows on MPBN including "Mainewatch". Wiggins has written and produced several special programs including "Walter Cronkite, An Anchor in Maine" which received an award from the Maine Association of Broadcasters. She also produced an hour-long documentary about the life of Senator Margaret Chase Smith which included interviews with Edmund Muskie and Richard Nixon. Memorable moments: interviewing Christa McAuliffe, teacher in space, while she was training in Houston; interviewing Eleanor Roosevelt's Private Secretary Moureen Korr in NYC; flying with the Blue Angels; and being live on air when the Challenger lifted off.
 
Wiggins was the co-founder and president of a multi media company in South Portland. She videotaped and edited stories for various programs, events and clients, including; "Cure for Breast Cancer in ME", "Celebrate School People", and "Maine and Morris Yachts 35th Anniversary".
 
Wiggins is a 1972 graduate of the University of Maine who is a member of the University of New England Deborah Morton Society and Margaret Chase Smith Library Advisory Committee.
