Mr. Hamilton has more than 20 years experience in general environmental counseling and regulatory compliance, natural resource permitting, and land use permitting. He also serves as general counsel to several Maine municipalities. Mr. Hamilton is the Chair of the Environmental Law and Municipal Law practice groups at Eaton Peabody. His practice concentrates on environmental compliance counseling, and representing clients in proceedings under state and federal environmental laws. He has extensive experience in hazardous substance and waste laws, and is the author of the Maine law text for the treatise on Brownfields Redevelopment published by Matthew Bender. Mr. Hamilton also maintains an extensive utilities practice, which includes serving as general counsel to a number of public water utility districts.
