Ms. Metcalf's practice is balanced between trial work, resolution of real estate disputes, and contract negotiation and drafting. She has varied and considerable courtroom experience in both Maine and Massachusetts. Ms. Metcalf's trial experience has involved boundary disputes, adverse possession, and innumerable easement claims. In Maine and Massachusetts, she has prosecuted and defended suits alleging breach of fiduciary duty, challenges to wills, undue influence, breach of contract, homeowners' construction disputes, subcontractor construction claims, mechanics liens, and related matters.

Ms. Metcalf is very proud of having been named Bath, Maine’s Citizen of the Year, in 2004. She is also very involved in her summer community serving as one of seven elected Overseers of the Northport Village Corporation, Bayside, in Northport, Maine. She is also a Trustee of the Village Utilities Department. She is the mother of two champion swimmers and the wife of an avid reader and a terrific cook.
